Core approach

Systems thinking, product sense, and end-to-end execution.

What I optimize for

I like projects that connect sensing, control, and software into one coherent product.
I care about execution quality, not just experimentation.
I try to make technically ambitious systems legible, usable, and trustworthy.

About

I like building complete systems that have to work in the real world.

My work sits at the intersection of software, embodied interaction, and applied AI. I care about execution, technical depth, clarity of experience, and making ambitious systems usable.

Through-line

From immersive locomotion platforms to business operations software to knowledge assistants, the common thread is building systems that are technically deep and genuinely useful.

Selected Work

Featured projects

A few projects that best represent how I work across robotics, production systems, and AI-enabled product engineering.

Experience

A concise view of the roles behind the work

I enjoy work that combines technical depth, product thinking, and responsibility for execution.

Ted Tech LLC

Full-Stack Engineer

Jan 2025 - Present

Built and shipped production software for e-commerce and appointment workflows, owning implementation across frontend, backend, database, and deployment.

  • Designed backend and data workflows for reservations, inventory, and payment handling.
  • Reduced order processing errors and manual scheduling overhead.

SYH Technology Co., Ltd.

Cofounder & Software/Systems Engineer

Jul 2022 - Dec 2022

Led software development for the Hex-Core-MK1 omnidirectional treadmill and helped integrate motion tracking, localization, and locomotion-aware interaction into an investor demo-ready prototype.

  • Contributed to a four-camera passive localization workflow for robust indoor tracking.
  • Developed gait-aware control logic to improve responsiveness and motion stability.

Research & Recognition

Technical credibility, kept intentionally lightweight

Research and recognition that reflect a deeper interest in real-time interaction, robotics systems, and applied engineering.

Publication

Strolling in Room-Scale VR: Hex-Core-MK1 Omnidirectional Treadmill

IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics, 2023

Research on an omnidirectional treadmill system for room-scale VR locomotion, connecting embodied interaction design with real-time systems implementation.

Publication

High-performance Data Management for Whole Slide Image Analysis in Digital Pathology

Proceedings of SPIE Medical Imaging 2024: Digital and Computational Pathology, 2024

A Vanderbilt publication on high-performance I/O and data management for whole-slide image analysis in digital pathology, with a focus on parallelized data pipelines and performance improvements for CPU and GPU workloads.

Ask My Work

A future interface for exploring projects, decisions, and technical work

Designed as the next layer of the portfolio: a grounded assistant surface for navigating engineering context instead of only reading static pages.

Ask My Work

Explore projects, technical decisions, and engineering experience through a future interactive assistant. The full assistant is coming soon, but the product surface is already designed with grounded retrieval in mind.
